Micah Adler is an academic and serial entrepreneur. His current research interests lie in mechanistic interpretability for neural networks and, more broadly, harnessing generative AI to enhance human efficiency and productivity. He was a tenured professor of Computer Science at UMass Amherst, with an area of expertise in algorithms, and has published more than 70 papers in top venues. He has also founded six companies, and been recognized for his entrepreneurial pursuits by being named New England Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and a Tech Luminary by Mass High Tech. He is currently a Visiting Scientist at MIT’s CSAIL in the Shavit Lab.
